Sunday 2nd March
A nice win for Moroder returning an SP of 33/1 and a fine runner up effort for Chosen Diamond at Navan advised at and returning a double figure SP. It was disappointing not to find the winner of the Morebattle at Kelso and that race and also the Navan race would have highlighted the big priced winners (including Dunboyne at 66/1) had we done the usual full analysis as being over-priced, not tips let's be clear, but a strong backing in my eyes for the fuller more detailed analysis having it's benefits. An enhanced 4th place in the Greatwood at Newbury was a disappointing tipping effort. Never moan at a 33/1 SP winner though, although overall it was disappointing for us.
The Cards at Huntingdon and Doncaster are largely unappealing, a couple of 2 mile Handicap Hurdles at Leopardstown look more than likely to be market dominated, so we'll have a bash at what is actually a very competitive 14 runner Dublin National over 3 miles and 4 furlongs at Leopardstown.
We have a couple of TRACKERS and the first two, of may what be four in total, Cheltenham Ante Post suggestions. I've got 4-5 others in mind and will whittle them down later in the week. The pair today are first up as one only has the one target race, the other whilst having 2 Entries currently looks far more likely to have, if not a preference race, although it is my preferred race, but a race it's guaranteed to get in to, rather than one it is likely to be balloted out of!
