Tuesday 25th February
Good Morning,
A winner and a few places at Punchestown yesterday.
Today there are just 31 runners in 6 races at Leicester and although Catterick has a couple of races with 11 runners (one a non handicap) the other race does look very likely to be dominated by a short priced favourite and 2-3 others priced 7/1 or lower. The AW Meeting at Wolverhampton is simply TV fodder.
We will abstain for the day and look again tomorrow morning.
The CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL Handicap weights are published today and we have 4-5 horses on our Ante-post radar. Today should give us a far clearer picture of which races they will attack and what probability they have of firstly getting a run, and secondly, a decent analytical view of their chances. We will be looking closely at this information today and deciding our first steps and the first Ante Post bets will be announced in the e-mail tomorrow morning.
