Chepstow 4.00

THE ADVISOR - Chepstow 4.00 Handicap Class 6 - 6 furlongs - 16 run - Good / Good to Firm

Chepstow has avoided the worst of the downpours over the past few days but had enough rain and watering to be decent Good with some Good to Firm and a dry day in the most part with a few late showers.

A competitive handicap and if you want a canny reverse forecast for a few quid on market leaders Darcys Rock and Hagla Sophia to cover them off at short prices then feel free. I'm seeking better market value to enhanced places.

Clashauska and Dylamd Ruby are also probable dangers but seem to have been well supported and Our Man In Havana who has som decent Course form but may be better at 5 furlongs.

The pair I really like at nice Odd are SOLDIERS SON and CREEK HARBOUR.

SOLDIERS SON finished runner up at 12/1 when tipped by me here in June and if you recall was just behind the other tip in the race that day Diamond Cottage who was also 12/1 SP for a nice forecast and singles. Off a mark of 45 and drawn 5 I think it has excellent prospects of a similar run here this afternoon. CREEK HARBOUR is another who runs off a nice mark and who looks like its turn is due from draw in Stall 10.

I'll be very disappointed if both aren;t very competitive.
