Lanspark for the Tizzards has gone PP11 and is up 8lbs having risen from 94 last season and now up to a mark of 112. Clearly in form and a big danger but a short price.
NICKELSONTHEDIME is one we've tracked for a while and really should benefit from a step up to this trip having been a very promising winner on the P2P fields. It'll be interesting to see how it gets on but time to walk the walk for this one.
Flowing Cadenza finally clicked last time here over 2 miles 5 and a half furlongs winning at 22/1 from the front, similar tactics would stretch a lot of these and it has run at the trip before but a 7lbs rise may just blunt its chances as possibly may the drying ground. Lightonthewing has Course winning form off a mark of 89, plus a place off a mark of 102, its back to a mark of 89 today and more interesting on that basis than any upturn in form but a much better run would be no surprise.
Rideau Canal is a totally unexposed handicap debutant for Alan King and can't be ruled out at all, but there are a couple at bigger prices who have bits of form that make them look over-priced.
D'JANGO one of a number of ex French imports for the Pipe yard that we have identified in Trackers and who have started to deliver once handicap marks have adjusted to more realistic levels ran its best UK race last time at Exeter and off a declining mark with a good 7lbs Claimer up can begin to pay it's way now, and even more of an eye catcher at the price is CHLOES COURT whose prominent running style could take it a long way in to the race and who isn't handicapped out of it by any means.
TIP - Nickelsonthedime / Tracker - D'Jango / shrapnel - Chloes Court
