It's going to ride Heavy here and unless something shows significant improvement I think that you can narrow the field down to around 6-7 contenders which include a Tracker horse in FEMALE APPROACH who won't appreciate the going on past evidence and who hasn't kicked on as much as we expected this season.

 

Pana To mIlan has won a race at Punchestown off a mark of 84, runs off 89 here with a 5lbs claimer but i'm just put off by a relatively poor Course record on this undulating Track although it clearly has some ability that the majority cannot yet match. Do Whatever makes handicap debut and seems one of the few who may be well enough forward to take a hand if conditions suit it, Royal Rhythm has enough form to definitely be considered but despite the Heavy and attritional conditions it's a big ask for it to be competitive at 2 miles here when most of its form is at 3 miles. It should definitely be staying on and will probably place somewhere but at the price I think there are better each way options.

 

That leaves me with 4 of note and the obvious one is SHEAN GLORY 5-1-2 here off marks of 83 - 81 - 86 and now runs off 88 and I've enough of a niggle about the Going to suggest you consider him for a small win-saver bet only and in T/Cast Perm as I'm far from convinced the price is value.

 

KATE ILL KNOW has a Course and Distance win, is on a reducing mark and will really have no excuses in these conditions. I really fancy the chances too of CAHIRMEE who has had 2 decent Course runs at 2 miles 4 furlongs and 2 miles 3 furlongs, fading late on after running strongly, the drop in trip and the going seem to be optimal therefore and I'll be very disappointed if this one isn't in the first 3-4 home. I also rate the chances of an improved run from TINGARRAN EXPRESS it's shown glimmers of form over Course and Course and Distance and slowly seems to be getting the hang of things off a mark now that would give it place chances here at a nice price.
