Daily Tips AW + Michael

AW - Wolverhanpton 2.45 Class 2 Wulfruna Stakes - 7 Furlongs - Tapeta

We will see if we can take on the favourite here who is a very short price and 2 horses that look worth a closer look from big Flat Yards are GULLIVER from the O'Meara yard ridden by Jason Hart out of Stall 2 and STRAIGHT RIGHT from the Andrew Balding yard out of Stall 3. Both look well drawn to be tactically versatile and both look to have good each way chances.

I will side with STRAIGHT RIGHT for the tip and GULLIVER for the Tracker, the brilliance of De Souza just tipping the edge.

TIP - Straight Right / Tracker Gulliver

MICHAEL - Hereford 5.15 Class 4 Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 5 1/2 furlongs - 12 run

Eagle Hill looks the one to beat but very short price and if you want a win saver that's a perfectly logical move to cover the tip stakes.

I think there is a race in Dollnamix but it really seems to need better Going than this and by race time the Track will be at it's worst. Definitely one to stay in the notebook for the appearance of "Good" in some form in the Going description. If it pops in here, will be frustrating but really don't think it handles this ground. Lady Chartreuse is in my long term Tracker, another who seems to need both better Going, and at the moment a shorter trip. Not inconceivable it might benefit from this trip but all things considered another to watch and track for another day.

The best e/w option at decent price would seem to be COUGAR KID. It is a Course winner and proven from 2 miles 3 furlongs to this trip and has won and run well enough on soft Going. My only slight niggle is proof it can win at the trip on soft, but there are not many in here with it's Course form, winning form and proven form in soft, so I think if they run tactically and it conserves energy it can move in to contention on the second circuit and give us a very good run for our money.

Tip - Cougar Kid
