A few Trackers in this of which the veteran Wee Small Hours would have a sporting chance as always , Diamond grove is out of form and best watched, Imperial Kate has not yet really delivered on some very promising Maiden form last season but is a slow burner who we will continue to monitor. ELSANNAH though is a steady improver and clear signs that something tangible is imminent and the step up in trip may eek out further improvement.

 

TANGENTAL is the one they all have to beat and if you want a win saver at the odds feel free. Morrie In D Quarry is a worthy second favourite and would have a solid chance if staying this trip in the mud. A couple to note who would have a squeak are Duffys Getaway and Townhill Penny both may like better ground though. At big Odds in a huge field I would not be at all surprised to see both SULAFAAT or SCULDUGGERY out running Odds on the evidence of glimmers of form and the latter SKULLDUGGERY may be a very aptly named horse for wily connections! (If you want some shrapnel on those pair I wouldn't put you off).

 

I'm most confident though and 3 horses and with lots of enhanced places I see these as giving TANGENTAL the most to think about today.

 

MY FRIEND THE WIND has excellent form credentials and the only chink in that may be Heavy ground but it has placed in simlar ground and has to have a cracking shout here. GETACLAN had a couple of very good runs last season that really stand out in the context of this race, the Jockey booking stands out to and a return to that form would see him have a great chance here. ELSANNAH I've already touched on too.
