Friday 9th March

Good Morning

There is NH at Ayr; Leicester and Sandown today in the UK; at Leopardstown in Ireland and AW at Newcastle and Dundalk.

The Card at Ayr has very small fields and although SMUGGLERS STASH in the 4.20 + CHU CHU PERCY in the 5.05 have had
good priced wins for us already this winter, we really can't put them up as tips at their prices today and its possible both may have
done their winning for this season anyway, and neither owes us anything! The Cards at Sandown and Leicester have a "military/
amateur rider" feel, and again we can't "hand on heart" find anything to TIP with confidence at decent odds, so just a few "mentions"
today. FOR NEWCOMERS - a tip is a tip and is proofed and fully explained/staked. A "mention" is one we think will run well; may be
worth a small bet to those who fancy a small bet and we explain why in the logic, and we have had some notable recent success at

nice odds with a few of these, but important to point out a "mention" is what it is NOT a full tip. Here is the table...

The Mentions Logic

SERGEANT BRODY probably one nearest to being a tip, in a tough little Handicap Hurdle at 4.45 where form is hard to assess;
the favourites Three Star General and Lip Service look quite solid but not jumping off the page to be backed at short odds, it may
be that Coeur Pensif could run well if they can restrain it a bit and looks better value than the 2 above it in the market; Jet Set has
won a 3 mile P2P on Good Going but reading of Rules form does not make mark here look exceptional. SERGEANT BRODY comes
from a small Yard in decent form, won 3 mile P2P on heavy; ran well until jumping error last time, but stayed on well after it and should

be closing up the hill with a clear round - P2P form indicates jumping not usually an issue - few quid each way.

The Open Hunter Chase is over 2 miles, too short for many of these old boys now but Going will make it a bit of a test; jockey ability
is vital asset and with exception of Gina Andrews on Throthehatch, best horse / trainer / jockey combo and recent form points to
NEVER COMPLAIN who ran well to this point under Rules at Bangor last time, and GRANDIOSO who has run very well fresh and

has very solid form in comparison to most of these as being the most likely to oblige and prices offer an e/w to nothing type bet.

THE 3.40 at Sandown looks nailed on to be between RATHLIN ROSE and BADEN with only Cabragh and Knockanrawley who
will need a fair bit further to really concern them, and do with that what you will, if its on jockey ability RR is easily the best pilot.
