Leopardstown - Sunday 7th March
Leopardstown 4.50 Handicap Chase - 2 miles 5 and 1/2 furlongs - Good to Yielding - 16 run
Livelovelaugh who I have tipped a few times to place is the obvious favourite and deserves to drop lucky in one of these but at the Odds you'd worry that it has many similar opportunities. Mitchouka is similarly consistent without winning and although a turn has to be near the price is prohibitive for much other than a win bet.
I tipped Minella Till Dawn to win at 12/1 last time out a few weeks ago, it's gone up from a mark of 126 to 134 and that feels like too much of a raised ceiling to me so reluctantly I'll by pass today. Uisce Beata and Midnight Maestro are both worth a close inspection, both like Minella Till Dawn though carry penalties that I think on balance just factor them out today.
ASK NILE is of more interest, gets ground it prefers for the first time in a fair while, trip and mark are fine and the booking of ms Blackmore certainly catches the eye.
Jessie Harrington runs a couple who are also of interest, Rapid Response is another who will prefer the drying ground and should be ready to strike soon and JETT although a big price would be thrown in here on various pieces of old form and this would represent it's easiest chance in a fair while.
TRACKER - ASK NILE - shrapnel bets on Rapid Response and especially JETT

In the Mares Handicap Hurdle at 3.45 both the Mullins and Elliott horses look a cut above but TRICKEY TRIX who ran a nice place for us last week when tipped at 16/1 should be in contention for minor honours again and as I pointed out at the time, the more it dries the better this nice Mare will enjoy it.
