PLACESPOTTER - Newbury 1.50 8 Shotavodka @ 4/1

We have National Hunt racing today at Bangor On Dee; Kelso; Newbury; Stratford On Avon
and Thurles and the AW today is at Lingfield and Wolverhampton. The issue though is again
"field sizes" as if you take out a couple of races at Newbury; we have a majority of races
being run with 8 runners or less, in cases considerably less, which offer little in the way
of punting scope or value. I am regularly asked why we don't focus on smaller field races
as "surely fewer runners makes it easier to find the winner"?. The problem being is that
(a) there is little betting value and (b) often they are run at slow pace and become very
tactical affairs making form analysis actually far harder than for a true run race with 10+
runners in it.

We looked at the 3.00 at Newbury, which seems a minefield of  unexposed horses, have
covered the 2.25 race for The SP2A Elite Service race of the day, so are left with a small
number of options, so we will try to be "creative" to generate some profit today.

The following three are all strong tips but no great value so we will combine them-:

PLACESPOTTER - Newbury 1.50 8 Shotavodka @ 4/1
THE ADVISOR - Kelso 5.00 3 Un Guet Apens @ 7/2
NEIL FARMER - Bangor On Dee 3.25 4 Conquer Gold @ 10/3

Have 1/2 point win bet on each; have 3 x 1/4 point doubles each way
and 1/4 point each way treble.
