Bangor 4.35

Bangor - On - Dee 4.35, a couple of these have had runs this week (Oneida Tribe and Rollerball Rocco) so remains to be seen if they re-appear. The Going is Soft to Heavy, a drier week but a lot of rain prior to that in the area. There are a few who may look "out of form" who may be running in to form off nice marks. DAN BORU has an obvious chance on progressive form and a 3 mile P2P win suggests the trip will be ideal. CARLO ROCKS is in the Tracker quietly running in to form for an astute Trainer who does well here and perfect TRICAST line material with Dan Boru and the 2 selections.

SPIRIT OF HALE is a Course and Distance winner, won this last year, this is a tricky Course to fathom and suits proven types. It is only 1lb higher than last year and looks primed to make a bold bid to win the race again and a nice e/w price. The real value though could be WHISKEY CHASER, another CD winner from a Yard prolific here and a jockey who can always steal races off the front with his great pace awareness. The horse will have needed both runs so far, one off a summer break, the more recent clearly after the yard was closed down due to equine flu, probably at time he was ready to race again. He has won off a break and on a very nice mark. This is one who should be tracked after today (whatever happens) as looks ready to win races again and may not be too long to wait if it's nott oday.

The other race we looked at is the 3.35 at Kelso but hard to find anything with really cast iron form at the trip and on the Going and a win saver on Worthy Farm may be an ideal accumulator punt.
