Exeter 2.20

ROBIN - Exeter 2.20 Novice Handicap Chase - Class 5 - 2 miles 3 furlongs - 10 run - Soft >Heavy

A Novice chase with Time To Bite; a Course and Distance winner off a mark of 79; and a winner of another race; but one who sulks when it doesn't get its own way in front, so not bomb-proof and Moorland Rambler, a Course winner at 2 miles in heavy conditions and who has shown promise at this trip, heading the market, and probably worth a small reverse forecast as they hold decent claims.

Birdman Bob is up in trip on Chase debut, Joe Cohen has a decent 2 and 1/2 mile P2P background but its best runs so far are on better ground, and at a bigger price Watchoutitscookie also makes Chase debut with a few decent Hurdle runs but may not be a natural jumper of fences.

At nice Odds I'm more taken with RAJJAMATAZ who showed promise last time out and who just needs to settle slightly better, and GREY D'ALCO who has one very interesting piece of irish P2P form hidden away where it finished within 4 lengths of Corbetts Cross, now a 140 rated Hurdler and 150 rated Chaser for Emmet Mullins and where it beat home Fine Margins who may not be a Willie Mullins stable star but who is a consistent 125 rated horse in Ireland. Off a mark therefore of 96 here, you'd certainly think that GREY D'ALCO can make an impression!
