It's Heavy ground and more rain expected so this will be all about getting into a rhythm and plodding on to the finish. 

 

Gios Girl is in the Tracker but has been poor since returning from a 2 year absence and until we see any signs of form is best watched. The remainder with the exception of a few have it all to prove at this trip and in the conditions and would be unlikely winners on form with the possible exception of Tequila Blaze who has some interesting back-form if reviving out of a prolonged quiet spell.

 

It really centres around 3 horses I think and the each way value may well be CONCRETE KING who has some good 3 mile P2P form in Heavy ground and also some Rules form when the mud is flying, they go for cheek-pieces and if they settle the horse and it runs to finish it may well give the 2 market leaders a shock.

 

It's hard to look past PUDDLESINTHEPARK who is in the TRACKER too and who won last time, the niggle is that it was on Good ground and this is Heavy and with a penalty. THE IMPOSTER is in excellent form overall this season and is 3-3 at this sort of trip and it has form in Heavy ground, the basic question is having won off marks of 80-87-95 is today's mark of 101 a ceiling yet?
