ROBIN has a tip and an analysis race - the tip race is the Gold Cup at 3.30...I think Native River will go out defending on his sword, this is a very high quality and deep renewal, as deep a race as we have had in many years. Stablemate Thistlecrack has come in for support but 11 years old now and I prefer the younger pretender from the Yard in ELEGANT ESCAPE - ran superbly at the Festival last year, one who is progressive and I thin can out run its odds. CLAN DES OBEAUX is the one they all have to been purely on the Ratings, IF it gets the trip will be hard to beat but this is Cheltenham and that final climb has found many horses out, the depth of quality means it won't be able to "hunt round" but a win saver is the suggestion. Of the Irish raiders, I have long thought KEMBOY to be a possible Gold Cup horse, has done nothing to dent my confidence and like my other selection could be genuine each way value.

 

(Robin also likes a few in the FoxHunter at 4.10 where at the top of the market he just prefers UCELLO CONTI and SHANTOU FLYER to fight out the finish ahead of Hazel Hill and Stand Up and Fight - may be a nice Tricast race)
